This dusty blue velvet wallet is featured in a “Winter Blues” themed treasury on etsy.  Click on the pic to see it.  

I upcycled this wallet from a beautiful throw blanket that didn’t really serve much purpose as a blanket…. it was more of a decorative feature in my house until I started cutting it up because I loved the texture of it, but it started floating around in my house— it just wasn’t meant to be a blanket. 

Speaking of winter blues, it snowed about 2 feet in Denver the last couple of days and it was oh-so-lovely.  Shoveling wasn’t even that bad.  Although, as I took my jacket off when I got in the house, I wondered if I was wet from the snow or if I was just permeating sweat that badly.
